About The Six Bells
The Six Bells is a hospitality and lifestyle company rooted in the Hudson Valley. We operate a Michelin key countryside inn and restaurant in Rosendale, NY, with an e-commerce shop and an actively expanding footprint. The brand sits at the intersection of early American and British design traditions, collected interiors, and genuine hospitality. We are growing fast and this role is central to how the world finds us.
The Role
A hands-on content creation and channel growth position spanning both the hotel (the physical place, the experience of staying and eating here) and the brand (objects, retail, collaborations, the larger aesthetic universe).
Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Strategic Support

Own day-to-day social media management across The Six Bells brand, ensuring channels are engaging, on-brand, and culturally relevant

Lead TikTok strategy and execution from the ground up while supporting Instagram and other social channels with platform-native best practices

Manage the social content calendar, partnering with the Head of Brand Marketing to plan and execute content across key business moments, launches, campaigns, and evergreen storytelling

Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, partnerships, events, and brand moments through thoughtful social storytelling and real-time content

Understand how organic and paid social work together, partnering with the marketing team to ensure content supports broader paid media initiatives
Content Creation

Create, edit, and publish original photo and video content for Instagram and TikTok, with a focus on authentic, UGC-style storytelling

Design social graphics, campaign assets, and supporting creative materials in Canva while maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints

Write compelling, on-brand copy for social media and support adapting messaging across other marketing channels

Brief and art direct external photographers, creators, influencers, and videographers to ensure all creative aligns with brand standards and content objectives
Community Management & Platform Growth

Drive organic audience growth through a deep understanding of platform algorithms, audience behavior, content optimization, and emerging social trends

Own community management by actively engaging with our audience, responding to comments and messages, fostering meaningful conversations, and cultivating relationships with creators, partners, and customers

Identify opportunities to increase reach, engagement, and follower growth through platform-native tactics, creator collaborations, and trend participation

Develop and grow The Six Bells Substack into a thoughtful editorial platform that extends the brand beyond social
Performance & Insights

Track and report on channel performance, identifying insights and making data-informed recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and growth

Monitor social trends, platform updates, and creator best practices to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and growth
What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience managing social media for a hospitality, food & beverage, retail, lifestyle, design, or consumer brand

Proven experience owning and growing social channels, with a strong understanding of what drives engagement, community, and audience growth

Deep fluency across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms, with a passion for platform trends, algorithms, and evolving best practices

Strong photo and short-form video capture/editing skills, with an eye for authentic, UGC-style content (professional videography experience not required)

Copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across social media, email, and other marketing channels

Proficiency in Canva and social-first creative tools such as CapCut, along with experience creating on-brand graphics and marketing assets

Understanding of how organic and paid social work together, including familiarity with boosted content, paid partnerships, whitelisting, and performance marketing fundamentals

Experience collaborating with creators, influencers, photographers, and creative partners

Comfortable using social analytics and reporting tools to measure performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations (Google Analytics experience is a plus)

Experience supporting email marketing and editorial content, including creative development, campaign design, or newsletter production, is a plus

Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable balancing day-to-day execution with long-term planning

Passionate about hospitality, interiors, antiques, travel, food, gardening, and thoughtful storytelling, with a genuine appreciation for The Six Bells aesthetic and point of view
